The fact is dealers must vote to strike. WE have no intention of
voting to strike until every dealer in Las Vegas is part of the TWU
Union. That is when we will have the power to pull off a
strike. This is also what the casinos fear most : The power
that we could some day have.
At the present time the dealers in this city are not united.
This is how casino management would prefer things to remain.
The fact is the TWU does not call for a strike. Only WE dealers
can vote to strike.
The fact is the casino cannot force us to strike. We already have
the "Status Quo." There is no time limit for negotiating. We
can negotiate for the next ten years and what we have cannot change.
So why on earth would we want to strike.
Dealers do not be afraid of what fictitious strike the casino
industry has been holding over our heads. WE will not be
replaced because we are not going anywhere.
