TERMINATION/SEPARATION AND HOW IT EFFECTS YOUR VACATION!!

 

 

Did you know that it is only the NON-UNION  employees that do   not get their accrued vacation pay, should they be dismissed or self-terminate before their anniversary date. BTW this was implemented in 2006, supposedly.  (If you weren't aware of this, you are not alone. This policy seems to have magically appeared only a couple of months ago.) You must make sure it is well after your anniversary date, (because this date can change without notice) now that your pay stub no longer displays vacation hours accrued/used as it did before MRG sold out.  Should you decide to retire or leave the company, it doesn't matter if you have over three quarters of your time accrued, THEY KEEP IT!   WHY?

BECAUSE THEY CAN!!

WE ARE NON-UNION!!

On the other hand, UNION employees essentially write their own ticket as it pertains to accrued vacation time. If they wish, they can vote to pro-rate vacation time to the very week that they separate from Mandalay Bay.  Unfortunately for us dealers, until we unite and  negotiate our contract, our accrued vacations will be decided by upper 
management. And as you know, their policies can be changed on a whim.
   So to protect our accrued vacation time, we need to print out and send in those CONFIDENTIAL AUTHORIZATION CARDS right away so we can vote to YES to join the "LAS VEGAS DEALERS LOCAL 721".  

   This is the only way we dealers will be able to protect our vacations, our tokes, our health benefits, our wages, and our job security.
